A bit about me: I am the Natural Resource Education Specialist at the Fairbanks Soil and Water Conservation District and have been there since 2010. I went to Unity College in Maine and got my BS in Outdoor Recreation in 1990. I am a Master Gardener and love to share my love for growing plants year-round.

Description: Learn how to grow your own veggies year-round and have a salad you grew in the middle of winter! Are you interested in learning about hydroponics, aquaponics, and other alternative ways to grow veggies and flowers? This in-person class will give you practical, easy-to-use indoor gardening activities, including STEM-based lessons to teach about plants and simple, inexpensive, but effective techniques for indoor gardening.
