A bit about me: Before I could read, I enjoyed the visual storytelling of comics. There's a comic out there for everyone, and anyone can make comics. I believe the best way to learn the fundamentals of drawing is with a pencil and paper. I can't wait to discuss cartooning and comics with everyone!

Comics: Expanding on the Elements

Cost: $195

Description: This virtual course guides students through a study of the elements of comics. This class is more in-depth than the fundamentals and focuses on specific prompts and ideas because creativity can be explored through limitations. Students will gain experience writing a comic script, designing characters, pacing comics, and building off of other students' stories! New and returning students are welcome.
