Description: Skating lessons at the Patty Ice provide foundation skills for figure skaters and hockey players. Skaters move at their own pace through various levels. Classes begin with the basics of skating forward and backward, then progress through stops, turns, cross-overs, and more. Students will be split into skill-appropriate groups. During the first half hour of class, the instructors will introduce new skills and work with skaters on improving their technique. The second half-hour will be devoted to students practicing skills on their own and some group games.
