Location: UAF SRC, 1910 Tanana Loop, Fairbanks
Grades K - 3: February 12
Time: Thursday, 9 am - 12 pm
Cost: $60
Description: Are you looking for an active way for your child to spend the no-school day? If so, this one-day camp will be perfect for your little mover. We will spend the morning playing lots of lead-up games focusing on motor skills of dribbling, kicking, throwing, and catching. Wear comfy clothes and good athletic shoes and plan for a morning filled with movement and fun.
Grades 4 - 6: February 12
Time: Thursday, 1 pm - 4 pm
Cost: $60
Description: Are you looking for an active way for your child to spend the no-school day? If so, this one-day camp will be perfect for your active child. We will spend the afternoon playing a variety of small-sided games of team sports, such as Ultimate, Team Handball, Floorball and/or Soccer. Wear comfy clothes and good athletic shoes and plan for an afternoon filled with movement and fun.

Instructor: Kayla Clark
A bit about your instructor: Kayla taught K - 8 physical education for the Fairbanks Northstar Borough School District for her 26 year career. She earned a Bachelors in PE/Health from Northwestern College of Iowa, and a Masters in Exercise Sport Science from UW-LaCrosse. She loves sharing her passion for motivating life-long movers and strives to be active in as many pursuits as possible in her own free time. Some of her favorites are scuba diving, hockey, pickleball, biking, running, skiing and swimming.
